Braid-On-Chevron Scarf

4 minutes read 58

This airy scarf is a dream! Lacy and light, it’s a versatile piece that can be worn even when the weather isn’t all that chilly yet. The chevron theme is familiar and fun, but the textured braid detail makes it something special.

BRAID

Chain four times the length of the scarf (240 in/610 cm). Do not finish off.

ASSEMBLY

Follow the tutorial to slip stitch the chain into the ch-2 space in the middle of 2V-stitches along the length of the scarf. Work loosely to allow the scarf to drape and not to restrict its natural stretchiness. Once slip stitches are made along the whole length of the scarf, finish off and secure the ends. Weave in the ends. articles/content/A11r7NU36BS6YGuIQUwFttZgxssJHaVMmqYSqxxz.jpg
